Who we are

Route One Leads is the trading name of Brandon Long, a sole trader based in the United Kingdom, and is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. Contact: hello@routeoneleads.co.uk.

What data we collect

When you submit an enquiry, booking request or use our Lost Lead Calculator, we collect:

• Your name, email address and phone number (where provided)
• Your business name and trade type (if provided)
• Information you provide about your enquiry handling, such as approximate monthly enquiry volume and average job value (if provided)
• Your message or enquiry details
• The date and time of your submission
• Basic technical data: IP address, browser type, and referring page

We do not collect payment information through this website.

If you are a business we may contact (prospect data): we sometimes process publicly available business contact information — such as a business name, website, published contact details and our own notes on a business’s publicly visible enquiry process — in order to send relevant, individual business-to-business outreach. We obtain this from public sources such as your website and public directories. We do not use purchased marketing lists.

How we use your data

We use the information you submit to:

• Contact you to arrange a discovery call or follow up on your enquiry
• Send you a confirmation of your submission
• Understand what kinds of businesses are enquiring, so we can improve our service

We use prospect data solely to send relevant, individual outreach about our services to businesses we believe may benefit from them. You can opt out at any time by replying to any message or emailing us, and we will not contact you again.

We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use it for advertising.

Legal basis for processing

We process enquiry data on the basis of legitimate interests — responding to an enquiry you have voluntarily submitted — and, where applicable, with your consent (for example, if you opt into follow-up messages).

We process prospect data on the basis of legitimate interests — conducting proportionate business-to-business marketing to corporate subscribers, with a clear opt-out honoured permanently. We do not send unsolicited marketing to sole traders or individuals without consent.

How we store and share your data

Submissions are forwarded to our workflow tool (Make.com) and stored in a CRM (Airtable), used solely to manage your enquiry. These providers may store data outside the UK (including in the United States); where they do, transfers are protected by recognised safeguards such as the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses, under each provider’s data processing terms.

We retain enquiry and prospect data for up to 2 years from last contact. If a business relationship is established, we may retain relevant records for up to 7 years for accounting purposes. Opt-out requests are retained indefinitely so we never contact you again.

If you are a customer of one of our clients

We build and operate enquiry systems for other businesses. If you submitted an enquiry to one of our clients, that business is the data controller for your information and their privacy policy applies; we process your data only as their service provider, on their instructions.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Object to processing based on legitimate interests (including direct marketing — we will stop immediately)
• Lodge a complaint with the ICO (ico.org.uk)

Cookies

This website does not use tracking or advertising cookies. We may use a single session cookie for strictly necessary technical purposes (e.g. form state), which does not require a consent banner. If we ever introduce analytics or other non-essential cookies, we will update this policy and add appropriate consent controls first.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
